The contestants will be tested on how well they work as part of a team, their worship lifestyle and their commitment. This is more than a singing contest, their character, leadership and their relationship with others will be greatly considered. Every contestant comes in as an individual but the winners will leave together as a team of four.

There are three stages before you reach the Music Camp (semi-finals). The first stage is the auditions, the second stage is the Call Back and the third stage will be the Music Camp. Individuals will be assigned into groups on the day and allocated a song to perform in front of the panel of judges. Here the contestants will be learning on working as a team, building friendships and improving on their vocal abilities with the help of vocal tutors.

The Music Camp will be held at the prestige location Hedsor House, Buckinghamshire. Here 16 contestants will be selected to go into the finals. Through-out summer and autumn we will see the 16 finalists engaged in a gruelling 10 week vocal session with vocal coaches and mentors.
